Moving Stories - Dumfries & Galloway


Moving Stories is a campaign for Dumfries & Galloway that celebrates the everyday journeys we make by walking, wheeling, cycling and taking the bus. It explores how these simple acts of movement create joy, build connection and deepen our relationship with the places we call home.


New electric buses are helping communities feel closer and more connected. Expanded walking, wheeling and cycling routes are turning pathways into possibilities. Local travel hubs are breathing new life into our streets, each one carrying fresh stories that support a more sustainable, connected region.


I was commissioned to travel to 9 different towns in Dumfries & Galloway and document what each town had to offer to encourage active and sustainable travel.
